Mike Leach vs Texas Tech: Game On

Posted by srr50 on December 29th, 2009 under Football

Mike Leach apparently does not intend to go gently into the night. Leach's lawyer says he will seek a court injunction that would enable Leach to coach in the Alamo Bowl. Ted Liggett, Leach's attorney, also said Craig James “attempted to use his influence to get his son playing time when he can’t earn it himself.”

I have a pulsating blister under my left big toe. I keep telling my chafed undercarriage lies like, "I swear I'll never forget to baby powder up pregame again. Seriously this

Saturday is Mike Leach’s Favorite Day of the Year

Posted by srr50 on September 18th, 2009 under Football

That's because he gets to celebrate a special holiday, as it is International Talk Like A Pirate Day. A couple of Oregon residents named John Baur and Mark Summers came up with the idea. They nicknamed themselves "Ol' Chumbucket'' and "Cap'n Slappy,'' started the Holdiay 14 years ago, and got some national pub earlier this decade when columnist Dave Barry wrote about it. Saturday's game in Austin will be Techs first time to play on

Pirate Sundry

"A dish best served cold, revenge is."
