Predicting The Big 12 North

Posted by Scipio Tex on July 10th, 2009 under Football

It will be a three team race to determine this year's sacrificial lamb for the Big 12 Championship game in Arlington. Assuming nothing of significance occurs on the injury front or that Cody Hawkins doesn't grow three inches from hanging on monkey bars, the contenders and non-contenders break out pretty cleanly and, affirming my South-o-centric view, each North contender's Big 12 South draw will be the primary determinant of who gets to receive blunt

Posted by Doperbo on June 9th, 2009 under Football

AP- A late breaking story from Houston surfaced this earlier week that appears to confirm the rumors that the current Tennessee Titans backup quarterback, Vincent Young, is secretly African American. What is the sound of one hand slapping?

Posted by HenryJames on April 10th, 2008 under Football

The Daily Texan sports blog has reported that Texas quarterback John Chiles is a suspect in an assault-by-conduct (slapping a woman) that the Austin Police Department is currently investigating. And by 'currently investigating' they mean the detective working the case probably won't even look at it until sometime next week. The police report said the incident happened on MLK at 2:45am last Friday, but it didn't say exactly where. I'm guessing West MLK near the
