  1. I’m so excited to hear Pete talk about himself for 3.5 hours. Oh, wait — I’ll be at the game and won’t be listening to him. Poop.

  2. Looks like we picked the right week to attend the game in person, BE.

Take your binocs and use your lip reading skills. You’re a lawyer right? I know you read jurors lips.

    What a douche..

  5. Magnus – if you meant me: Ex-lawyer, at least in terms of trying cases. I have been in the gentle arms of the entertainment biz for the last 12 years, and in that context have had a couple of opportunities to be ignored by Pete when I wasn’t the coolest person in the room.

I indeed meant you. Thanks for the update. I thought I had read legalese from you in the past. Of course, just about every other regular here is a lawyer it seems.

  7. We lawyers get to where we are in life by knowing where to get the most accurate information as quickly as possible. Hence, BC.

  8. Bob W. – don’t forget the free cheese pizzas hand-tossed by HenryJames. Those are a big drawing card.

  9. My understanding is that isn’t really cheese, per se.

  10. Is McKnight going to give him a ride to the game?

“Of course, just about every other regular here is a lawyer it seems.”

You take that back, magnus. You fucking take that back.

    Right. NOW.

  12. Just in case you didn’t click through… he will not be in the booth at the game. Just all the pre and post game discussions.

  13. I was hoping for Leach. Now I’m really glad I’ll be at the game.

  14. Is there anyone we dont hate?

Great…just another cover up by ESPN and ABC to deflect all of the negative media attention created by McKnight and the cheating bandits. Unfortunately, Pete will come on, be oh so cool, crack a couple of jokes, talk about how his team is rebuilding and Barkley is the second coming of Tim Tebow, and all will be forgotten about SC’s most recent scams. It’s unbelievable how the “objective” media can spin whatever suits themeselves. What a joke…

  16. Yeah, it really makes it worth the $1500 ticket price to skip the commentary. He’ll be in the studio so no chance of me screaming “DOUCHE” at him from the stands.

  17. BE and sigarpants, we are in this together. at the game, lit up in the parking lot, I shall care not what Pete Feral has to say.

and if yer not a lawyer, or an E industry type, you have to be some MBA numbers man to contribute on here…

    just sayin…

Damn, I thought it was gonna be Mike Leach, who actually fits the description. That would be fun to watch.

Mike Leach is a lawyer. Just saying.

  20. Greeeeeeat. That decision to save money and watch the game on T.V. is really beginning to work out for me.

It appears the NCAA intends to expand its annual basketball tournament to a ludicrous 96 teams.  Nearly 100 teams, competing in a single-elimination tournament to crown a champion.  March Madness, indeed.

Money is obviously the motivating factor here.  The NCAA makes cash hand-over-fist during tournament time, and there’s a certain simple-minded economic logic behind

I didn’t watch all the games you guys played all year but yesterday’s game seemed to me to hinge on the ineffectiveness of Sherron. really sad for that guy as he’s a baller. I think Ojanb Bob said this over at BC too. He just couldn’t get it done on either

I agree the RG position will be the most interesting development of the Spring. Last year Okafor couldn’t drive block and couldn’t run in the open field on screen plays. If he’s not physically capable of losing weight and improving, I want to know who will replace him. Suh and McCoy may

I wish they weren’t playing Kentucky next. Same goes for #11 seed Washington having to play West Virginia.

Sucks that we are getting the two best teams left in the tourney playing in the Elite 8 possibly.

An already painful week turned excruciating for Carlo Ancelotti. After being dumped out of the Champions League midweek by former hero Jose Mourinho, Chelsea failed to rebound and dropped two valuable points at Blackburn. Manchester United edged Liverpool and now control the Premier League race.

A forlorn figure on the touchline, Carlo Ancelotti could

With Leach at the wheel I was expecting a 10 win minimum season with the guys this team has coming back in 2010. Now with Tubbs, Willis, and Brown running the show I’m in agreement it’s anywhere between 9-12 wins this year.

Very exciting to hear your take on the O-line ded, as

    No Kalin Lucas?

    No problem.

“Too Easy” has had his share of leg and ankle problems this season, and with two minutes left in the Spartans’ second round matchup with Greivis Vasquez and the Maryland Terrapins, he made an early exit.

Cornell is playing phenomenally well. I’d be surprised if Wiscy doesn’t cut into the lead in the 2nd half.

Jay Bilas may end up looking like a genius.
