  1. Ricky gashes for 40 yards on the first drive and then throws an INT from inside the 5.

    A career first?

Both people watching the Falcons/Bucs game saw Tim Crowder sack Matt Ryan.

  3. Ricky’s gone over 100 yards rushing with about 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

  4. The Red Zone network is down and it’s ruining my day.

Crowder recovers a fumble as well. Roy Miller’s made some stops for the Bucs as well.

  6. Crowder has played well for Tampa.

  7. well

  8. Well said.

  9. Gary Kubiak is an aggy coach.

  10. The Texans were up 17-0, and now they’re down 28-20.

  11. So is this going to Vince vs. Leinart?

  12. Another turnover for Houston.

  13. Schaub is not very good. The curse of Vince continues to strike.

  14. Carbon copy of last year’s Texans / Colts game down to the Mathis strip on Schaub.

The Texans have the killer instinct of a PETA activist.

  15. I just got back from the Texans game. Ugh! On the plus side, I was in a suite, so the free food kind of made up for it.

I just turned on the Vikings game in time to see Cedric Griffin intercept Cutler in the EZ. Nice.

  16. Terrible mental error for VY at end of half.

  17. Bball struggling with Rice. What comes out of a Chinamans ass?

  18. Texas leading Rice by 5 with 7 min left. Ouch.

  19. The Texans — man, what do you say about that? They continue to lose the same, exact way. They lock up in close games, Schaub makes a dumb turnover or two (of the pick 6 variety twice this year), Kubiak and Shanahan freeze up on the play-calling, and the team falls apart. Kubiak is not a good head coach and Schaub is not a good NFL quarterback. Both are merely average or maybe slightly below.

  20. anyone know where to watch the Titans game online?

  21. Sorry. Just saw this. Catch the last minute if you can…

    http://atdhe.net/8362/watch-arizona-cardinals-vs-tennessee-titans

  22. thank you so much. By the way i have a longhorn dog named sasha

  23. YES YES YES!!!! VY!!!!

  24. V fucking Y!!!!!!!

  25. OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!! VINCE!!!!! YOUNG!!!!!!

  26. My, my , my . . . VY is a man!!! All he does is win football games.

  27. all he does is win

  28. Ha! Announcer compared this to Texas/USC, then said, “And today, Vince leads the Titans down against US.. I mean, the Cardinals.” Hehehehe!

  29. Matt Leinart thinks the better team lost.

  30. He’s a witch.

  31. Once again…so very nice.

  32. Vince has less than 30 starts? And 9 come from behind wins in 4th or OT!!

wow, judging on that game, they should just let vince run the 2 minute drill the whole game. and make sure he throws on every 4th

  34. He just wills his team to win. Your right t1, he is a witch.

  35. Vince Young and the Titans. 99 yard drive. 3 for 3 on fourth down, including 4th and goal from the 10 with 6 seconds on the game clock. I hope y’all had a chance to see that. Is there any doubt he has turned a page?

  36. Just saw the highlights that was freaking beautiful. Very happy for him and the Titans. I do wonder why Vince went to the sidelines by himself vs. celebrating in the endzone with the team, but I’m probably reading too much into it.

  37. BTW – offensive line was nails on some of those blitz pickups on the last drive.

I live in AZ and aside from the douche supreme Leinart being on the Cardinals, I usually pull for them. I mean, it’s kinda hard to root against a team with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin on it, they’re amazing to watch. But as I was explaining to the Cards fans in the room, watching Tennessee for me is a mild time warp back to 2005, and that their team was fucked. Ninety-nine yards and an ear splitting grin later I got to hear my favorite opposing team fan’s response to Vince, “Damn.”

Going into the game you would have thought the battle would have been a classic matchup between West Virginia’s frontcourt and Villanova’s backcourt.

The only question is which team could impose their will and dictate the mismatch. Villanova might try to do it by pressing and playing up tempo. West Virginia’s

Dam, I was just going to post the same shit.

OT and DB are the most important postions. OT we need Westerman, Haverty and Drango/Greenlea/Cochran. What do we know about Cochran?

I hope Adrian White benefits from being there in the Spring. That is the one thing that worries me about the Class

We know Junior Day #1 is this Saturday. There’s flux in regard to who will and won’t be on the roster come the 2010 season, but let’s assume the numbers don’t really matter, as a whole bunch of seniors leave after 2010 and attrition will take place as well.

So your number is 25 max.

    What positions

Fundamentally on both sides of the ball we are very weak. On defense we are athletic but don’t really understand when to pressure the ball or double team. Many times we over persue at a time when the offensive player is not in a dangerous position and end up giving up an easy

I thought I remembered a stat one time in the game where it said KU 21 points off turnovers and UT 0.

Agreed Mike. The game is just slower for Scottie Reynolds, totally in control. Imagine him last year with Blake Griffin.

Singletary was really effective in the first meeting. He’s been frustrated a little bit the last few games, so I’d like to see him go off without much shot-blocking from the OU front

Can that golfer shoot free throws, and dribble penetrate?

  • Victor Scott commented on the blog post Kansas Open Thread   1 hour, 33 minutes ago

One piece of good news for the day for the Horns. They picked up a verbal commitment from the number one golfer in the country who is a junior, Jordan Spieth out of Dallas. He will make our team top five or better the day he shows up on campus.

Yeah, I’m just going to go ahead and give Hamilton the label.

    Bust.

Henceforth, he shall be Jordan Bustamante to Jordan Bustafazoo.

    Ny Horn -

You should watch the NBA more. The center position is extinct. Aldrich will probably play 10 years.

You know the leader in scoring for centers in the NBA?

    Chris Kaman.

    Not kidding.

NY Horn: considering what I understand our track record to be with putting our big men into The League, I think Iraq might be a little beneath him. Maybe France or Spain…

Were those new unis you guys were wearing tonight?

  • kuoirad commented on the blog post Kansas Open Thread   1 hour, 54 minutes ago

Mack: right, we abuse our football players by poking them in the chest. Big difference. Though we’ve got a new coach in town, so I haven’t seen how he does abuse.

It sounds like if you guys can get the rotation and free throws figured out, you’ll be tough to beat in the tourneys. Lord knows I don’t want to see you in the Big XII, and would love you guys make some noise in the Big Dance.

NY: probably, we have to come here to Austin this year. Though I think we swept the series last year in Lawrence. Pretty sure we at least “won” the series…

I’ll take Hamilton in the game the rest of the season for 25 minutes a game and we will be a better team in the long run. We must have 5 players who can score to have a chance against the premier teams in the country. I agree that he will have to
