    Luck is as good as any freshman I can remember as sensing pressure, stepping up in the pocket to buy some time and then finding his receiver. He just mobile enough to cause defenders to hesitate an all out rush.

    USC’s ability to prevent blow-outs was impressive until this year. That was a weak point for Mack early on at Texas, especially in Dallas. But, as Huckleberry would point out, Carroll’s team is regressing to the mean on this front. Play enough games, and you’ll lose a few in ugly fashion.
