LZ couldn’t finish a thought if it was written out for him. He is an example that ANYONE can qualify to have a talk radio show. I will give him credit for his impressions (e.g., Lou Holtz) but that is his highest (and only) use.

I can’t listen to Ahmad read the sports updates. It’s painful. In fact, I can’t listen to Ahmad at all. He takes ridiculous positions, ties himself up into rhetorical knots that would make echeese blush and then refuses to concede. It’s aggravating.

Rod Babers is good. Ahmad Brooks is pretty good in the morning also. When Madani is out and they have both of them it is excellent.

Anyone ever listen to Ketchum’s radio show in Austin?

I do, but only during football season. Ketch is what he is, a big galoot who stumbled into his dream job. But at least he talks about the topics that interest me, even if he adds nothing insightful. I actually prefer listening to Rod Babers on 1300, but the other dude on that show is a know-nothing loudmouth.

I like LZ and Granato’s show, but they hate Texas and are huuuuge SEC homers. I’ve no idea why, as LZ went to Tulane and Granato… gets drunk in Baton Rouge a lot, I guess. And they hate hate HATE Coach Mack. Any ncaa football discussion is going to include at least one cheap shot at UT or Mack.

Charlie Pelillo is still on the radio? Huh. Who knew.

Here’s hoping that Vince does it to the Texans again two Monday nights from now so I can listen to all their heads exploding Tuesday morning. Vince could beat the Texans and put an Aggie’s job in jeopardy all in one fell swoop.
