I agree that Quan was a special player, but he was not the engine of the offense. He was also not the only guy on the team with really good hands. He just happened to have the most experience playing with Colt.

You are correct. But the “as well as he could” from a great QB results in a national championship or at least a beating of a overrated squad aka Ohio State 2008-2009.

Don’t fool yourselves. That Ohio State team sucked out loud and UT almost lost the game. As Scipio has argued before, not all wins are equal.

The person that really made the offense tick last year is gone. Answer this, Who is more important in the hunt n’ peck offense? The guy throwing the 5 yard slant or the tough as nails, hands of glue, fearless guy catching the ball?
I would argue it is the receiver.
