  2. “The BCS, no matter how unpopular they might be, everybody has a right to tell their story,” Watts says. “That’s the American way.”

So … the BCS is a person, now?

I think Watts might have knocked himself silly, bouncing off Tom DeLay’s glass ceiling.

Do you teams from weaker conferences really want to end the BCS system or are you guys just talking half-heartedly about it and really hoping it doesn’t end? Think about it, without the phoney affirmative action promotion of the BCS, could a team from a weaker conference, like the Horns, ever realistically make it to the MNC game?

If the two strongest teams in the nation faced each other, and if they really were the two strongest teams in truth, then just about every year, year in and year out, two SEC teams would be playing for all the marbles in the MNC game. If a legitimate playoff system was enacted and the SEC teams were allowed to show their superiority, SEC playing SEC would be the end result more often than not.

I repeat, do you Horns really want to be bitching about the BCS. Hell, the phoniness of the BCS is the best chance for you guys to luck into another MNC game, considering the the weakness of the conference you all play in.

Also, hope you guys make to the Championship game so that the Tigers can be guaranteed the National Title. Unquestionably, we would bash the brains out of your weak, puny hitting team. SEC rules in more than just football.

I’m more than happy to see teams settle things on the field – the outcome will be what it will be, and we can settle this SEC ‘dominance’ myth once and for all.

  40. If the two strongest teams in the nation faced each other, and if they really were the two strongest teams in truth, then just about every year, year in and year out, two SEC teams would be playing for all the marbles in the MNC game

    Hi!

  41. Hahaha. Tiger Bashball is funny.

The last time the SEC had the two best teams in the country was never. The conference is strong because it consistently puts out a bunch of Top 15 caliber teams, and in some years a handful of top ten teams. But don’t get crazy. It’s not like they’ve ever had a year like the Big 8 had in 1971.

  42. Faggy Assball said:

    June 16th, 2009 at 11:06 am

“Two of the best three teams in the nation last year were from the Big XII…sorry to break it to you”

How are you breaking this to me and with what support? Is it with the B12 South bowl records last year? As evidence of your conference’s once in a generation dominance, you guys went, what? 1 out of 4. Where the hell does all this B12 arrogance come from?

Since you number crunching geeks love to fathom out meaningless numbers and stats on this site so much, why don’t you guys chart out the B12 South’s offensive deflation in the bowl games, when you guys were not facing the cupcake B12 D’s and then get back to me about this so called B12 dominance. Talk about a myth. The only question would be which crash was worse, the recent stock market collapse or the combined B12 offensive numbers in their bowl games?

Remember, Ole Miss did what you Longhorns could not do: we dominated, embarrassed, and beat the living crap out of an extremely overrated Tech team. Chances are that if last year’s Ole Miss team was lucky enough to be in the B12, they would have been the best team and won the conference.

Look at the recruit rankings. The SEC has five teams in the top ten; the Big 12 has only one, you guys. If you boys were in the SEC, you don’t think you guys would be crying all the time about how a two loss Texas team in SEC play is better than an undefeated team from a conference like the B12. Playing in the SEC is like playing an Oklahoma three to four times a year, instead of just once as it is in the B12. How can you football know-it-all guys even compare the two conferences? The difference in the level of play between the two is like night and day.

Not to get off subject but Texas’ last four baseball national championships have come at expense of the mighty SEC.

  45. Faggy Assball said:

    June 16th, 2009 at 11:29 am

Your wish is my command, intellectual type. I am gone. I just wanted to expose all the UT calling for an end to the BCS for what it really is: alot of overblown pretense and posturing. You guys really do not want a full blown playoff system where the SEC is allowed a true representation of its strength. If that was allowed to happen, it maybe another 50 years or so before you guys lucked into another MNC. We would all be dead or gasping for our last breath before you all saw another MNC trophy in your hands again.

Go ahead and keep on bitching about the BCS and about it is to blame and how it keeps you all from being champions, if you guys want to flame and fume about not being champs. Just know this, we over here in SEC land just chuckle at it all and know better than to take any of all that hot air coming out of Austin seriously.

  46. Captain Call said:

Here’s why the SEC is a bunch of circle-jerking homosexuals.

Your name is “TigerBashball” but you refer to Ole Miss as “we.” As in…”Remember, Ole Miss did what you Longhorns could not do: we dominated, embarrassed, and beat the living crap out of an extremely overrated Tech team.”

What the fuck is it about you SEC boys that you love to be in one another’s jockstraps. Reality check time:

YOU (Ole Miss) lost to Vandy. The end. Don’t give me shit about overrated teams when you’re losing to Vandy and South Carolina.

Texas and Oklahoma would have blasted any team from your league, save for Florida.

None of LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, Vandy (ha!), the list goes on…could have stayed on the same field with us.

And you can’t this year, either.

    You’re welcome for your quarterback.

I should have gone to The University of SEC. While the walk between classes is a bitch, it would be fun to see my team play 80 games a year.

A recap of my rooting interests this year:

Florida beats OU by ten. Texas beats OU by ten. Advantage Florida.

Texas embarrasses Arkansas. LSU loses to Arkansas. Advantage LSU.

Big XII number 2 team beats tOSU in bowl. SEC number 2 team rocked by Utah in bowl. Advantage SEC.

Clearly SEC > Big XII. Or LSU > UT. Or SEC > UT. Or whoever it is that I would be rooting for at any given moment.

  48. Hi! We were the co 2nd best teams in the world in 2007 at 11-2 and 9-4 respectively. These performances were so powerful that one of us fired our coach a year later.

Then we hired the Kiffin family.

  49. Hi! According to SEC logic, I was the second best team in the country in 2006 despite the fact that I lost my last three games that year and finished a pedestrian 10-4!

My performance was so powerful my coach would get fired one year later!

  50. We were co awesomosity champions in 2005 at 10-3 and 11-2 respectively. Our ridiculous greatnessness caused the entire college football world to ignore us because we were irrelevant that year. But, it is obvious we were as good as undefeated Texas and once defeated ESPN Proclaimed Master’s of the Universe Southern Cal
