This is Why Walt Anderson Still Has a Job

Scipio has already lamented over the lack of holding calls in the Big 12 and how it seems to an a league decision to add zip to the offense.

At last week’s spring meetings, the Big 12 announced that they would be distributing a record $130 million in revenue to it’s members. That almost a 15% increase over the previous high.

Missouri AD Mike Alden added that the increase was due to “a combination of things. The strength of our conference, the Big 12 brand, our great fans who travel extremely well and television ratings,”

Two teams in the BCS helped as well. And the idea that ESPN Gameday spent a good deal of time in October and November in the Big 12 didn’t hurt either.

TV loves offense.

In addition to the Pope, the Rothschilds, the Gettys, Colonel Sanders (before he went tets-up), the next conference at The Meadows will include NBA/Big XII officials.
