It's not in ESPN's interest to have a strong Big 12... and it lessens their investments in the Big 10 and SEC.

So they don't pump us and usually undercut us.

That's the bottom line.

glenn, the real proof that it was ESPN was not just the focus on USC, but on the SEC as well, and to a lesser extent, the ACC.

Not much attention paid to the Big 10 or Big 12.

i hadn't been paying that much attention to the 'all-star' games, and hadn't realized the under armour game was associated with espn. it all came clear when i was apprised of that fact.

hmmm . . . lessee . . . espn sponsored game and usc bound excellent qb. hmmm . . . let's see that roster again.

i've seen garrett live a couple of times. he's for real. i'm extremely pleased that he will have a year in the program with colt here. that could be a really, really good association.

Regarding Gilbert, I believe he has said that he wants to redshirt, which makes a lot of sense, given the depth chart.

"one of the longer Black Team runs of the night"

"Didn’t see him get beat against the talented White Team front four."

I laughed.

Am I the only one that thinks Shepard reminds them of former OU quarterback Charles Thompson? Not in the off the field stuff, but the way he runs and size.

Have seen Russell multiple times over two years and he has gotten better as a quarterback, but I still not convinced he isn't the newest version of Derrick Williams or Percy Harvin.

Gilbert made some throws that went for big plays for LT, but were bad decisions against top tier talent. Nothing wrong with starting that learning curve as everything else looked solid.

All QB's have a hard time playing behind a line that has only been together for a week (by this I mean an all star game, not the ags' line this year). I guess a dual threat like RS would come out of it slightly better than a pro style QB.

Very few college age kids get gout, but it certainly slow down a DE. Any other old man illnesses that could be wished upon oklahoma players?

Gilbert is a taller Colt McCoy with a slightly better arm. I am rooting for a redshirt.

Craig Roh is Bryan Pickryl.

Shepard looks like a star if he continues to mature as rapidly as he has this past year.

I like Barkley for a pro-style offense. He is a good fit for USC.
