We’re playing very well with the exception of some careless turnovers.
We’re controlling tempo with some token pressure, tough on ball defense, and good tempo in our half court sets. Our sped up tempo has led to some uncharacteristic bad shots by the Badgers. Unfortunately, they’re hitting most of them. That won’t continue.
Mason is struggling guarding the basketball. Running the show is taking its toll on him.
Hughes will come back down to earth. Balbay is slowing him down. If Balbay only had a J, he’d be our answer.
Our ball reversal off of the dribble handoff has gotten our bigs a couple easy looks. We missed this component Saturday.
Foul shooting? Who is that in burnt orange? We missed 1 foul shot?
We’ll win if we take care of the basketball.

this has looked great today. is that what we’ve been trying to do? we’ve never been consistently successful so it’s been hard to tell

Yep, our big will screen with flow going one way, we dribble handoff to reverse the court, and the screening big now has position because his man is hedging the other side to Abrams or whatever shooter.

If we don’t foul on a front end miss here, someone needs to have their head examined.

Nevermind. Big fucking win. Defense was clutch. Balbay grew up a bunch. Wisconsin got some home cooking to boot. Big win.

Yes Dogus is going to help a ton. He will make Justin and aj BETTER Can he shoot the three???? James was not out of bounds on that play. Wisc is not ranked but they are 113-7 on that court.

Gotta like the development of Pittman, Johnson and Balbay over the last 4 games. Atchley played with more intensity. Damion & AJ played great.
Would like to see Mace get his stroke back. He’ll never shoot like AJ, but historically he’s shot a lot better than this season.
Next up, would like to see Varez show some good offense. I think that’ll be a few weeks down the line.
