I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong on this guy. If only we had Brackens’ lazy lion opposite Rak’s four-point cheetah prowl.

    Somewhere Mamula sheds a tear.

  2. I bet Loadholt, if he saw Brian tonight, would give him a big hug.

Well-deserved. Wish I could have seen him against Florida’s OL (or maybe sacking Tebow).

  4. I bet Loadholt is too busy getting ready for the Nat’l Championship game to care. By the way, you people (read: sissies) are being made fun of all over the net, including but certainly not limited to, The Big Lead.

Grow up, ya big babies. You’re embarrassing your overrated state and university.

  5. Please find a fire to die in.

    UofC,

Eat shit! What happened when OU lost on the field to Oregon? Wasn’t the governor also crying instead of worrying about more important matters?

Loadholt was seen holding Orakpo on his way to the podium. Alas, he still made it.

  8. UofC,
Enjoy getting cornholed by the Gators.
You will be forever known as: The 0-5klahoma Sooners.

  9. What’s sadder? Longhorns talking about Longhorn stuff on a longhorn site or trolls spending time on other teams websites just to talk smack?

I know that being an Oklahoma fan is sad, sad fate only beaten by actually being from Oklahoma, but man get a life. Or at least finish cleaning my pool or serving me my meal or whatever menial work your OU degree (I make the large leap that you actually attended said “university”) got you.

I don’t think I’ve ever once visited an OU site. Of course I always assumed that okies were too busy trying to get used to the whole opposable thumb thing to actually get into the internet thing.

  10. Justice will be done when OU gets crushed and ends up in its rightful place in the final standings: Behind UT.

  11. Shouldn’t Ole Miss be ranked ahead of Florida???

Maybe if Ole Miss had lost three less games.

Nice to be playing a classy university …. Your fans were nothing but class is ‘05 and ‘06. Also, Texas got screwed and should have been in the game vs Oklahoma… florida lost to and unranked Ole Miss and should be the odd man out. Looking forward to putting your offense against our defense.

Orakpo would look nice in a Chiefs uniform. The Chiefs would probably have more than six sacks if he played for them this year.

  17. I thought Derrick Johnson would look nice in a Chiefs uniform too. Dammit.

I’m guessing UofC is a Cal Bears fan, not an OU fan.

Which makes him even more pathetic.

I can see Orakpo getting drafted my The Miami Dolphins. I’ll bet Parcells would love to do with him the same thing he’s done with Demarcus Ware.

Loss in Waco = Win in Kansas City?

Tonight the Bears get their second crack of the year at Kansas State. The first time we played K State in Waco, we managed to lose the game despite being more efficient than K State offensively. While K State did outshoot us by 9%, and outrebounded us 36-32,

    Thanks, St. Emilion.

That’s a good choice, but UNC was so good that Ty didn’t stand out as much as he should have.

Mateen Cleaves, Khalid El Amin, Ty Edney, those were some other tournament war daddies that come to mind along with Lawson.

The best guards are puported to come from Chicago, Illinois because in the windy city, you either score at the goal, or you risk having our J pushed two feet off the mark thanks to the 30 mph winds whipping off Lake Michigan.

To that point about guard play, watching the Big East tournament

Yeah, but here’s the thing — you have to have some way to resolve draws. Endless extra time is impractical, because these games are played in the midst of regular league and domestic cup features — you just can’t play that much extar football. Penalty shots are even more arbitrary than away goals.

Mistakes from nerves should not be a reason to unjustly allow one goal to count as two. It goes against the true laws of the game. No other sport has a “point” (goal in this case) scored by one team counting for more than what it would for the other team. It
