Traveshamockery.

Stoops CO-coach of the year with Leach? No Muckleroy? John Cooper Olineman of the Year? Seriously.

Scipio will have more on this later.

  1. So Baylor has the same number of first team All Big 12 players as UT? You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.

  2. So John Cooper gets Offensive Lineman of the Year, yet he’s on the 2nd team? WTF.

  3. This conference hates us. We should return the favor and destroy it.

  4. Gundy deserves the Coach of the Year.

Since there are 14 on offense anyway it seems Shipley deserves a first team mention. He has had a great year although it is hard to argue with Maclin, Bryant, and Crabtree

Looks as if MB was right, Bradford does have more weapons.

“This conference hates us. We should return the favor and destroy it.”

No kidding. The Big Eight revisited would get Dave Lapham every week for the marquee game.

If the conference hates us, why the fuck are we holding back on our opponents?

We need to make these fuckers FEEL us. Put it in their mouth and make them taste us. Time for absolute ass-whoopins across the board and leave no doubt whatsoever.

  7. “No kidding. The Big Eight revisited would get Dave Lapham every week for the marquee game.”

Indeed, a fate worse than death.

Was Dave Lapham Big XII Color Commentator of the year? And if not, why? That honor would go well with the Coach of the Year picks.

I hope to goodness Mack goes Urban Meyer vs Georgia style on Stoops next to year. Like time outs in fourth quarter to add to score, the whole nine. What a prick

  10. I see Harry Dean Stanton behind the wire at the drive-in theater talking to his boys for the last time. Instead of “Take dead solid aim” or “Consistently Good to be Great” we should make next year’s slogan;

    AVENGE ME!

No fucking prisoners. Napalm every field we play on. Then napalm them again. Let God sort ‘em out.

  11. Second suggestion for the slogan:

Ain’t nobody giving us a gottdam thing.

    Slogan: “Every play counts.”

Seriously. If there was any season where this was most true, it’s this season.

First missing out on the championship game, now this? It’s as if the voters compiled their ballots in August, stuck them in a drawer and are just now pulling them out to drop in the mail.

What a joke. Fuck this fucking piece of shit conference. And their crappy TV deals.

    Funny thing-

In 2003, OU had nine All-B12 players, and Texas had four (just like this year). OU won the RRS that year 65 – 13. In 2005, Texas had nine All-B12 players and OU had five. Texas won the RRS 45 – 12. This year, like 2003, OU leads in All-B12 players over Texas 9 – 4, but Texas won 45 – 35. Wow. The whole at Texas is greater than the sum of the parts. At OU this year, it’s the other way around.

You are going to be too smart for your own good. A common fault amongst Bracket makers. There’s a reason why the 55 year old admins win 80% of these things every year.

Good team that took number 1 seeded Louisville to the wire in last year’s tournament. Start 3 seniors and two juniors, very athletic. Solid pass first point guard. Their leading scorer was player of the year in the conference.

Good club that plays multiple defenses.

I just took Baylor going to the Elite 8. It’s a crazy mixed up world we live in.

Is it just me, or does it pain anyone else to not be able to determine who is going to beat Duke early? It’s bound to happen, but who will it be?

colorado ag, Utah State is as athletic as Nebraska. You’ll be fine as long as they don’t go 16 for 31 from three.

Siena, on the other hand, is going to beat you like you stole something. Maybe not, but the Saints should win.

Great article Scipio. Also, thanks for the dime.

Looking at the Tournament futures market, Vegas is telling us what they think about Onuaku’s health. The Orangemen have the easiest region and road to the fianl four, yet they’re +700 to win it all, while UK and Kansas, teams with much tougher roads, are +250

My brackets are pretty much locked down except the South. Can’t get myself to take Baylor, and Duke doesn’t feel right. Nobody seems to be high on Nova. It’s all about the Big East and Big 12 this year.

    CJD -

Possibly. However, I’m telling you – the beauty of these intergame lines is that when you see that all-too-familiar big early game lead that you know will evaporate down the stretch as soon as the team starts regressing to their 3 point shooting mean, there’s some money to be made.

Anytime. How far do you think the Aggies go? A lot of people think Utah State is the most dangerous pure shooting team in the tournament.

Last year in Vegas, Friday morning, stumble to the line at 8:30 to make my bets, put $20 on a four-team parlay on the four 9:00 am games, nailed it! Three of the four games’ spread was determined in the final 0:30. Walked away with $220.

    I have:

    Syracuse
    Kansas
    West Virginia
    Baylor

These will all likely change 3-4 times before tomorrow morning.

I don’t have as high an opinion of Ohio State as you do. Evan Turner is fantastic, but I don’t like their odds of taking down Georgetown and KU back-to-back.

Baylor scares me. They have no idea what
