The explanation for Brandon Collins’ absence

Posted by ChrisApplewhite on September 2nd, 2008 under Football

Hard to tell from the article, but it looks like he was caught up in a Nigerian email scam.

Collins has made retribution of the error on an off-campus housing check this summer, But because he cashed the check, he was required to serve a one-game suspension.

The editor must’ve fled for higher ground due to hurricane season. They should let Bill Little write these so he can work in some nature metaphor, and tell us how hard Brandon Collins worked all offseason to cash that housing check.

Collins is one of my favorite young players, so I hope whatever the hell happened to him is ironed out soon so we can see him play.

Anyone else think Lloyd for BYU gets a lot of double takes sporting that faux hawk in Provo? I mean, aside from double takes he normally gets just being black

    Florida fucking sucks.

What happened there, Berger. How do you go from BACK to BACK Champs to missing the tourney two years, nearly missing it again and then getting run in round 1?

I don’t trust UNM either, and I have no reason not to other than I still feel spurned by a loss back in early January to San Diego State. Which is not a bad loss but it cost me money. In all my brackets I have the winner of Marq/Wash. going to the
