If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma St, they win the South.
If OU loses and Texas beats Texas A&M, Texas wins the South.
If both OU and Texas lose, there will be a 3 way tie. The team with the highest ranking in the BCS would then win the South.
Big 12, Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Longhorns

Cornell is playing phenomenally well. I’d be surprised if Wiscy doesn’t cut into the lead in the 2nd half.

I gotta believe that Izzo beats Maryland today, I haven’t been impressed with the Terps this year. I am surprised that they are favored.

I think your overall point is a good one. Barnes is a “system” guy especially defensively, which plays into how he overall plays the game. He wants to play a high pressure, overplay man2man scheme predicated on effort, good technique and overall quickness. Similar to Duke, but even Coach K (in fairness

What a glorious, glorious day of basketball at the Ford Center Saturday.
First, Ali Ali Farokhmanesh and all the other Panthers with cool names took down Kansas as Sherron Collins made his best effort to shed that “clutch” label on the last game of his collegiate career. Then of course, Kansas State waved goodbye to Jimmer

Both teams are unselfish and preach sharing the ball. A&M is a balanced scoring team. Sloan showed in the first round against Utah State, for example, that he can defer when his teammates have things going. Purdue once again will have to rely on JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore to produce, and hope

Offense
QB Sr. Taylor Potts/Sr. Steven Sheffield – We’ve all annointed Sheffield as the starter, and I think that’s the case if we continue to run 99% of our snaps

According to this site, Texas would win the South in the event of of a 3 way tie. OU’s loss to Tech would make it between us and Okie Lite, and we own the tie-breaker:

Both Tech and A&M would be tied for 4th place, so that tie-breaker would be skipped according to the Statesman. It then goes to BCS standings (OU would be ranked higher unless they get blasted 77-0).

Kirk Bohls of the Statesman talked to Bob Burda, the Big 12 Assistant Commissioner.
(b)3. Looks at their record against Tech and A&M, and all 3 would be 1-1 against them.
(b)4. They then look at Baylor, and all 3 beat Baylor. They don’t have common opponents from the North.
So you use (b)5.

If Texas and OU both lose, is it even possible for Texas to jump OU in the BCS standings? How bad would OU have to lose?
I’m an optimistic person, but I just don’t see us beating Texas again. OU, however, pretty much depends on Bradford.
BigSatan said:

But would aTm and Tech really be considered tied? Tech beat them straight up. That tie breaker concept for the straight up victory doesn’t trickle down to the entire standings? That seems completely stupid.
