This team is going to look like it did before VY and like it did in the year after VY; a collection of mostly 1st tier talent led by a collection of mostly 2nd tier coaches.

On the bright side, I have now have faith that whenever a truly unique and singularly transcendent football masterpiece (think VY), capable of instilling a championship work ethic and mental fortitude in his teammates and coaching staff is born in the State of Texas then Mack Brown will sign him and the Horns will win another National Championship. If somehow that player is born every decade or so then I think the program is in good shape. Until the next one comes along however, I fear that we are, at best, a top-10 team that in the end is missing something that this coaching staff cannot provide.

When Greg Davis is no longer coordinating our offense, I’ll reassess my position.

Isn’t it the recruiter/coach’s responsibility to have the best talent across the board? If the talent on your roster isn’t a result of your recruiting and your coaching in your 9th year on the job, then just what the hell is it based on?

tu fans are finding out why ol yeller is about as bad as “franstastic” as a game day coach. Without superior talent across the board, stoops will come out the winner. He is just a better recruiter and HC than anyone in the B12. Gig’Em.
